Ava Art Guild & Gallery

Art Guild and gallery building

The Guild

The Ava Art Guild is a 501(c)3 organization formed to promote the arts in Ava, Missouri and surrounding area. The guild offers free monthly workshops on the second Saturday of each month except January and February. There is a large library of art and art related books available to members and it also operates a gallery for members to sell their works.

Each year the guild conducts two art shows featuring multiple art mediums. Through the generosity of sponsors it also offers a wearable art show, a yard art show, and a quilt show.

The Gallery

The gallery is located at 303 E. Washington St, just one block from the central town square in Ava. The gallery is open from March through December, Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. Staffed by volunteers it may occasionally be closed due to weather and staff availability.

The Gift Shop

Guild members offer a wide variety of works for sale at the gallery including framed original art and photographs, pottery, jewelry, glass mosaics, home décor, textiles, polymer clay, resin pour, and wooden turned items. The guild charges a nominal 10% commission on sales.
